Free seller tool · no account required

See what your Walmart Buy Box report actually shows — and what it can’t.

Drop the Buy Box report you downloaded from Seller Center into this page. It is read in your browser, never uploaded, and never used to connect a Walmart account.

  • Check every SKU’s win/loss status and visible price gap from your own downloaded Buy Box report — nothing uploaded, nothing connected.
  • See exactly which losses are explained by price, and which ones the report has no data to explain — a report-format limit, not a guess.
  • Understand the difference between a price problem and an account-signal problem (WFS, Pro Seller status, suppression) before you touch your prices.

Analyze your Buy Box report

In Seller Center, open Analytics & Reports → On Request Reports and request the Buy Box report. Use the CSV exactly as downloaded.Up to 5 MB, 5,000 data records and 64 columns. Processing runs in a separate browser worker on your device. Files with quoted commas, escaped quotes and multiple-line product names are supported.

What the report contains

The nine columns a Buy Box report gives you

Walmart’s documented Buy Box report columns are SKU, Item ID, Product Name, Product Category, Seller Item Price, Seller Ship Price, isSellerBuyBoxWinner, BuyBox Item Price and BuyBox Ship Price. That is the whole set. This analyzer matches those names without caring about case, spacing or punctuation, and also accepts the common alternatives sellers see in exports: seller_sku, itemid, wpid, item_name, title, category, my_item_price, my_ship_price, buy_box_winner, buy_box_item_price and buy_box_ship_price.

A column this tool does not recognize is listed back to you as unrecognized rather than quietly dropped. A blank optional cell is reported as not available in this file. Nothing is inferred to fill a gap.

What the analyzer derives

Win or loss comes straight from isSellerBuyBoxWinner, which is accepted as Yes/No, true/false, y/n or 1/0. The landed price gap is your item price plus your ship price, minus the Buy Box item price plus the Buy Box ship price — calculated only when both sides are present in the file. From that it places each losing listing in one of three states: undercut by a visible amount, already at or below the Buy Box landed price, or no comparison possible because the file carries no Buy Box price.

Why a loss at or below the Buy Box price has no explanation here

When your landed price already matches or beats the Buy Box landed price and you still do not have the Buy Box, price is not the explanation — and the report does not contain the explanation either. There is no winning-seller name, no WFS flag, no Pro Seller badge and no suppression flag anywhere in this report. Those fields exist, but they arrive on Walmart’s live Buy Box change event, not on a file you download.

So this tool says what is true: that the loss looks exactly like a WFS disadvantage, a Pro Seller advantage or a suppression would look, and that only a live account connection can tell you which. It will not tell you that you are suppressed, that the winner uses WFS, or that lowering to a particular price would win the Buy Box back. It never collects your costs, so it has no floor to reason from and no business telling you what to charge.

Read the result before you change a price

  1. Separate the two columns of losses. Listings with a visible price gap are a pricing decision. Listings at or below the Buy Box price are a signal problem you cannot see from this file.
  2. Check your own economics first. A visible gap does not mean closing it is profitable. Rebuild the floor from landed cost, fulfillment and referral fees before matching anything.
  3. Treat the report as a snapshot. It was generated at one moment. A win in the file is not proof of a win now, and neither is a loss.

Privacy and retention

This report is read in your browser and passed to a local Web Worker. It is never uploaded, never sent to Lumi’s servers, never sent to an AI service, and never used to connect or authorize a Walmart account. Closing this tab or clicking Clear removes the in-memory copy; your downloaded report file on disk is untouched.

A Buy Box report contains your own catalog data — your SKUs, your prices and the Buy Box prices Walmart showed you — not shared marketplace data about other sellers. It still never leaves your device. The JSON you can save is written by your browser to your own disk; nothing is transmitted to produce it.

The one thing this page can send is the email address you choose to type into the launch notification box, together with a rough band for how many records your file held. It goes to Lumi’s own app, is stored solely so we can notify you once about the Walmart App Store launch, and is never joined to your report — the report is not sent, so there is nothing to join it to. Leaving that box empty sends nothing at all.

Frequently asked questions

Does my Buy Box report leave this page?

No. It is read locally and passed to a browser worker on your device. It is not uploaded, not sent to an AI service and not used to connect a marketplace account. Clearing results or closing the page removes this tool’s in-memory copy.

Can it tell me why I lost the Buy Box?

Only when price explains it. The report has no winner identity, WFS flag, Pro Seller badge or suppression flag, so when your price is already at or below the Buy Box price the honest answer is that the file cannot say. Any tool claiming otherwise from this report is guessing.

Will it tell me what price to set?

No. It never collects cost, fees or a margin floor, so it has nothing to calculate a safe price from. Use the repricing workbench for a minimum price from your own inputs.

Can a formula or link inside a cell run?

No. Cells are displayed as text. The analyzer does not evaluate formulas, render cell HTML or visit cell URLs. The export is JSON rather than a spreadsheet file containing executable formulas.

Does this connect my Walmart store?

No, and it cannot. There is no API key field, no OAuth step and no write access anywhere in this tool. Lumi’s Walmart connection is going through Walmart’s App Store approval and is not open for broad onboarding yet.

When the report stops answering, evidence should start.

A report tells you the outcome. It does not tell you which offer beat you or what your system did about it. The next question worth asking any repricer — including Lumi — is what evidence it can show you for a single price decision.
