Free seller tool · no account required

Catch cost-file mistakes before they become pricing mistakes.

Check a CSV for missing costs, duplicate listing identities and confusing formats. Your file stays in your browser. Nothing is imported and no prices change.

Start with a single-store sku,landed_cost file or check a file with explicit store IDs. The result explains what to fix—not just that something went wrong.

Check your cost CSV

For one store, select its account after login. Multiple-store files require an explicit store_id on every row.Up to 5 MB, 5,000 data records and 64 columns. Processing runs in a separate browser worker. Files with quoted commas, escaped quotes and multiple-line notes are supported.

From file to reliable economics

What a ready-to-review cost file looks like

For one store, begin with sku and landed_cost. Keep the SKU as text so 000123 remains 000123. In the authenticated application, a missing store ID can only be resolved when your authorized store scope is unambiguous. This public tool cannot see your account or decide which store owns a SKU.

A multiple-store file should include store_id,sku,landed_cost. Store IDs are UUIDs, not store names. The same SKU in two stores represents two listing identities. This tool checks the ID format, not whether the store exists or belongs to you. Example IDs in the template are placeholders and must be replaced.

Supported column aliases

The checker recognizes sku/seller_sku; store_id/storeid/store; and landed_cost/all_in_cost/unit_cost/cost. It also checks goods_cost/product_cost/purchase_cost, fulfillment_fee/fulfilment_fee/wfs_fee, ship_cost/shipping_cost/label_cost, and shipping_charged/ship_charged. Include only one alias for a field: two competing all-in cost columns are ambiguous.

Use decimal numbers without currency signs or thousands separators. Currency and target_margin_pct can be included for review, but Lumi’s cost CSV importer does not apply those settings. Change account and strategy targets through the authenticated controls, not an unrecognized CSV column.

A partial breakdown is not a complete cost

A shipping-only correction can be useful without replacing the entire landed cost. That does not make the missing product cost zero. The checker labels detail-only rows so you can verify the authoritative basis before applying a change.

When use_breakdown is explicitly true, both goods_cost and fulfillment_fee are needed for that component total. Adding those details alongside an all-in cost does not mean they should all be added together. Confirm which costs the total already includes, especially fulfillment, inbound freight and preparation.

Fix the file without losing the original meaning

  1. Review identity issues first. Resolve duplicates and accidental SKU whitespace against the actual store. Do not merge records merely because their titles match.
  2. Confirm missing and zero values separately. A blank is unknown. A typed zero is an explicit value that deserves review—not an automatic replacement with a default.
  3. Verify the economics after login. Check the current observed price, actual fulfillment, authoritative cost and applicable fee evidence before enabling live repricing.

Frequently asked questions

Does my CSV leave this page?

The checker reads it locally and passes it to a browser worker on your device. It does not upload the file, send its cells to an AI service or connect to a marketplace. Clearing results or closing the page removes this tool’s in-memory copy; your original local file is unchanged.

Does a green result mean the cost is correct?

No. It means the checked file rules passed. This tool cannot verify supplier invoices, pack quantity, store ownership, live fee quotes, returns or which shipping costs are already included. A well-formatted wrong number remains a wrong number.

Will this change my 0% growth strategy?

No. The checker never changes accounts or strategies. Zero cost and 0% target context are retained and labelled for review. It does not substitute a default margin.

Can a formula or link inside a cell run?

No. Cells are displayed as text. The checker does not evaluate formulas, render cell HTML or visit cell URLs. The diagnostic export is JSON rather than a spreadsheet file containing executable formulas.

Is this an Amazon or Walmart upload template?

It is a preparation tool for Lumi’s cost workflow, not a marketplace inventory or listing upload. Amazon and Walmart have separate catalog and pricing requirements. Do not submit these example templates to either marketplace.

Turn clean inputs into decisions you can inspect.

Once your account is connected, review the actual listing and its limits before using live automation. Then follow a price request through to marketplace evidence instead of treating an accepted request as the final result.
