Walmart seller readiness
Before Lumipricer, get your Walmart setup ready.
Lumipricer is the repricing layer after your Walmart Marketplace account is approved. We do not create or approve seller accounts. This page shows what to prepare, where Walmart's official application starts, and what happens when you are ready to connect.
Choose the path that matches where you are
You do not need to start with Lumipricer if Walmart has not approved your account yet. Use the official marketplace process first, then return when Seller Center is ready.
Already selling
You have Seller Center access, live or draft items, and a store you want to manage more deliberately.
- Open Lumipricer and authorize your Walmart store
- Sync a small catalog first
- Preview decisions before any price is sent
Applying now
Use the preparation list below to collect the business, catalog, payment, and fulfillment information Walmart asks for.
- Keep the legal name and address consistent
- Prepare GTIN/UPC information for your catalog
- Plan US fulfillment and returns
Not ready yet
Start with Walmart’s official application and learning resources. Lumipricer becomes useful once Walmart grants Seller Center access.
- Join Walmart Marketplace
- Take the getting-started guide
- Return here when your store is approved
Preparation checklist
What Walmart says sellers should have ready
These are the official minimum qualifications shown in Walmart Marketplace’s getting-started materials. Requirements and review outcomes belong to Walmart, so confirm the current details in Walmart’s own guide before applying.
- A Business Tax ID or Business License Number. Walmart states that an SSN is not accepted for this requirement.
- Supporting documents that verify your business name and address.
- A history of marketplace or eCommerce success.
- Products with GTIN/UPC identifiers, including a GS1 Company Prefix where applicable.
- A Marketplace Wallet or third-party payment-provider account.
- A catalog that follows Walmart’s Prohibited Products Policy.
- Fulfillment through WFS or another B2C US warehouse, with returns and seller-performance processes in place.

Use Walmart’s application and learning pages
These links open Walmart-owned resources. Lumipricer explains the handoff to repricing; Walmart owns the seller-account application and approval process.
After approval
The Lumipricer handoff takes four focused steps
Authorize your store
Connect through the supported Walmart authorization flow. You do not send Lumipricer your marketplace password.
Sync a catalog
Start with a small group of listings so you can confirm costs, fulfillment context, and expected floors.
Add your economics
Enter unit cost and minimum margin. Lumipricer uses those inputs to guard the price it is allowed to send.
Preview, then Live
Review the actual decision path first. Move to Live only when the preview is understandable and the guardrails fit your store.
